Cake Hungry Necklace
I
felt inspired to draw my first comic story and here it is :-) I
wanted a short story which I can show on one single page. It was
interesting to limit my fantasy like this because in my mind I could
tell more about this situation... but ok, only one page can also be
enough to show the Cake Hungry Necklace. I hope to find time to color
it, but don't
know when... Shop is coming soon, a lot of work to
do..

Clouds Go Away!!
I miss the summer here with every part
of my body and conscious, this is so hard after the long and dark
winter to be drowned from the rain in this summer. Anyway, I am
searching for other creatures when I walk between the trees and the
bushes and yesterday I met some. It seems that the rain does not
bother everyone... but me.

In The Forest Shadows Watch Your Tail
I love the dark and deep
woods. There is so much life in the shadows to find. I feel inspired
to search for more...

Hide and Seek
Today I was walking tired
through the park, hearing lots of children shouting. The vacation
started and the kids were playing hide and seek all around the trees.
On the lawn others played and amused themselves.
I wished I had some
enthusiastic friends to play hide and seek too...

Forest Imprints
I am walking the same ways every day
and everytime it feels like been there for a first time. I carry all
these pictures printed under my skin and I love to watch how they let
roots deep in my bones. Everything grows now, I love this time of the
year and the small forest creatures hurrying on their ways and even
do not notice my presence here.

Deep in the green
Some
green moments from yesterday after the rain: The drops on the leaves
reminded me of liquid silver. Small creatures appeared on the way and
a lot of shamrocks. I think it is going to be a great year!

Snow Prayer
Cold,
grey and rainy days – the winter has forgotten
the snow. Where is the snow? I want snow, he wants snow, we want
snow! Please, snow, come to us!
I
made this picture to invite the snow offically this year. This period
of the year makes me nostalgic to old techniques. It is great to make
embroidery on paper. Here are some pictures of an old work if you
like...

I Love Happy Ending Stories :-)
It
is been a long time from my last post here, I am sorry for the long
gap... The summer turns to autmn and everything arond is changed. I
was working couple of weeks in Bugaria too and was very happy when I
came back to Berlin to find some leaves on the trees left:-))
Thank
you very much that you keep checking my blog for news and writing to
me!
There
were a lot of crazy days
and many things are happaning around the
Magic Animals. Last week we were about to celebrate because my paper
goods came from print. Unfortunatley in the same evening my dog
escaped from home. It followed four
horroble days and nights in surching the poor Meri which is here
since five months only and has fear almost from everything. I am very
very thankful to all sweet and genreous people in the quarter who
searched with me during
these days and could not sleep til Meri was found! Without this help
maybe Meri would be still homless. Thank you thank you so much
everyone!!!
I
made some illustrations for Meri and took some fotos from the places
that I suppouse that she was hidding these days. Now everythings
around her seems to be fine and I can go
back to work.
With
the next post I will show you some Mariyas Garden paper goods wich
are already available!!

Plants Muk as Soft Toy!!
Plant Muk`s size is about 45cm

Plants
Muk
Plants
Muk is the creature that brings us bright flower colours and the
flavours of the summer. Any uninhabited corner
could suit her well and give her shelter for a season.
Especially she likes grasslands embraced by mountains, lonely forest
glades or meadows. When she found the right place she will examine it
closer to find a spot where she can strike her roots.
If
the ground gets confidence in her, it will whisper her tales to sleep
in the dawn. Smiling and crying in her dreams she creates seeds and
bulbs for her future garden. The stories she have been told during
her sleep affect the essence of the to-be-grown plants. But there are
other influences too: Is the weather unsettled during the day, going
from rain and storm to bright sunshine, the Plants Muk is inspired
for the colours of the blossoms to-be. When she wakes up in the
evening, she scours the clearing for the right spot to plant her
dreams output. She will examine the seeds till they show sprouts.
The
Plants Muk creates plants on the forest glades and cares for them. In
the late fall she wraps up carefully the bulbs and buries them
safely. When her work is done she hibernates deep among the roots of
a tree. In the spring a small bush grows from her covered with blue
and rose blossoms and light green leaves. She wakes up at the end of
spring and leaves her chthonic bed to wander to new places and to
grow there new gardens. But if there still are a lot of bulbs in the
ground from the last season she may stay. Although it is very
unlikely because she is eager to hear new stories on/from
new places. If the clearing will be visited by another Plants Muk,
the new Muk will care for the plants as if they were her own – but
flower colours will change.
If
you like flowers – or plants in general – and you call your own a
garden – some flower pots on the balcony does it too – then
invite a Plants Muk. She will care for your plants day and night and
you will learn the best to do for your flowers. The Plants Muk will
encourage you to follow your dreams and to understand the tongue of
your swevens.
