Autumn in the Air

I was fascinated all this year by the clouds all around – amazing forms showed up. At some days the clouds were so huge and reminded me of the Miyazaki movies. I had to give a try to capture some moments in my sketch book. Mostly I walked on the street and park with open mouth till I hit a tree or some stop lights. Autumn is coming and I do not feel ready yet.

Always I was fascinated by water with all its qualities. Water is also my absolutely favourite drink. This image crossed my mind maybe because I swam almost every day in the last weeks. The waves soaked my mind with its colours and movements and I started a small oil painting but I never painted water in such a detailed and realistic way. This is a study for my colour painting.
